In the vast majority of cases, you will be able to schedule an appointment with the physician of your choice.

What does it mean that a surgeon is fellowship-trained or board-certified?

Medical fellowships allow a surgeon or other medical professional to gain advanced training in an area of medicine beyond that acquired during a residency. Board certification is a process by which a doctor establishes successful completion of a program and testing within a particular specialty.

Where is Central Lakes Medical Clinic located?

We are located on the Medical Campus of the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, Minnesota. We are easily reached off Minnesota Highway 210, not far from its intersection with either U.S. Highway 169 or Minnesota Highway 371. The Medical Campus is just minutes from downtown Brainerd, and about a 90 minute drive from either Duluth or the Twin Cities suburbs.

During what hours does the Central Lakes Medical Clinic schedule appointments?

We schedule appointments Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Central Lakes Clinic is closed on New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

What should I do in case of a medical condition needing attention after normal clinic hours?

In the event of a medical emergency, call 911 or proceed to the Emergency Department on the Medical Campus. A person who has a medical condition that needs care after normal clinic hours should be brought to the Emergency Department on the Medical Campus at Crosby.
